Dominique Debay is a luxury travel brand that curates extraordinary experiences in destinations like Bali, the Maldives, and Morocco. Their team was spending hours researching properties, vetting experiences, and compiling itinerary options for high-net-worth clients. We used Alpha Agent to build them a dedicated research platform that dramatically accelerates this process.
Luxury travel isn't about booking hotels on Expedia. It's about knowing that a particular villa in Ubud has a private chef who studied under a Michelin-starred mentor, or that a specific riad in Marrakech has a rooftop terrace with Atlas Mountain views that's only available for exclusive buyouts. This knowledge lives in the heads of experienced travel designers — and in dozens of browser bookmarks, PDFs, and email threads.
When a new client inquiry came in, the research phase could take 6-8 hours per destination. The team needed a way to centralize their institutional knowledge and accelerate the research-to-proposal pipeline.
Alpha Agent created a research platform with a curated property database, experience catalog, and itinerary builder. The system allows the Dominique Debay team to search and filter properties by destination, price tier, style (romantic, adventure, wellness, family), and specific amenities. Each property has detailed cards with insider notes, photos, and pricing ranges.
The itinerary builder lets designers drag properties and experiences into a day-by-day timeline, automatically calculating travel times between locations and flagging logistical conflicts. The AI also suggests complementary experiences based on the client's stated preferences.
Alpha Agent built the platform over a series of sessions totaling about four hours. The property database schema, search interface, and itinerary builder were created in the first session. The AI matching engine and proposal export were added in follow-up iterations based on feedback from the Dominique Debay team.
The design uses warm, luxurious tones — cream backgrounds, gold accents, elegant typography — matching the Dominique Debay brand aesthetic. Alpha Agent nailed the visual tone from a simple description of "luxury, warm, editorial."
Research time per destination dropped from 6-8 hours to under 2 hours. The proposal quality improved because the itinerary builder catches logistical issues that designers might miss. Client response rates to proposals increased by 25% thanks to the polished PDF exports.
Most importantly, the institutional knowledge is now preserved in a system rather than in individual people's heads. New team members can access the same curated intelligence from day one. Want to build a custom tool for your team?
